What are the key reasons why kids should be introduced to the game of golf? We have put them in order form the least important ones to the most important.

10. Business. Golf is a sport, that prepares kids and teenagers for a business career – it teaches them rules, the ability to make a decision, it presents a chance to meet people and improve their communication skills etc.

9. Nature. Golf is an amazing opportunity to spend several hours outside in the fresh air.

8. Differences. Golf can be played by people of different ages, genders, cultural backgrounds, heights, weights, levels of performance. They can play without a problem in one group. That is an important life lesson.

7. Friendship. When kids meet new people they improve their interpersonal and social skills. Moreover, you never know who you can meet on the golf course – maybe even a friend for life.

6. Emotions. There are many parallels between golf and life – just like in everyday situations, in golf you have to cope with ups and downs.

5. Safety. Golf course is a safe place to have fun.

4. Humility. Sometimes, the ball doesn’t bounce the way kids want, sometimes, the result is not just like the way they imagined. No matter what the circumstances are, kids have to accept the reality as it comes.

3. Etiquette. While the code of good behaviour is sometimes a bit unclear in everyday situations, in golf the etiquette is inherent part of the game. And it is also very easily applicable off the golf course.

2. Family. How many sports do you know, that you can play with your whole family and everyone can have a good time?

1. Health. Do you see more and more “heavy” people around you? Obesity is a result of unhealthy lifestyle. Golf helps to get kids away from their computers and sofas. They carry their bag while playing and walk many miles – they make more than 10 thousand recommended steps and burn a lot of calories (a 70kg person burns around 350 calories in one round).
